Circular Trails and Nature by the Water

The Troi des Canaiis is a 5.1 km circular trail starting at Parco Cibert. It therefore offers a specifically named route for anyone who would like to combine their visit with a longer walk. The Archaeological Trail has a different focus: it begins at the parish church of San Giovanni Battista in Remanzacco and leads to the remains of the rural church of San Martino, about 3 km from Remanzacco. The approximate distance remains part of the orientation and does not describe the length of the trail.

For a more landscape-focused exploration, the nature trails in Parco del Torre e del Malina are suitable. They run mainly along the banks of the Malina River. These trails therefore form a landscape-oriented focus, while the archaeological trail leads to the remains near San Martino.

Churches and Art History

In Remanzacco, route planning is combined with specific historical reference points. The relief polyptych is unequivocally attributed stylistically to Giovanni Martini and dated to the period between 1510 and 1515. The parish church of San Giovanni Battista dates from 1535; an inscription affixed to the façade confirms this date. In the Church of Santo Stefano, the lintel above the entrance also bears the date May 11, 1500. The three details point to different forms of historical perception: a dated work of art, a church documented by an inscription, and a single date on a structural element.

Museum, Astronomy and Family-Oriented Activities

The Gino Tonutti Museum in Orzano, a hamlet of Remanzacco, brings together four departments. They focus on industrial archaeology, agricultural machinery, vintage cars and motorcycles. More than 200 items in the blacksmith's workshop and the machinery department testify to the family's work manufacturing agricultural equipment. The museum is therefore particularly interesting for a visit centered on technology, working life and family history.

The astronomical observatory is operated by the Associazione Friulana di Astronomia e Meteorologia. Its offerings include activities in the fields of study, research, and scientific and educational outreach. During group visits, weather permitting, a guided identification of the constellations on the observatory lawn and observations with operational telescopes may be offered. This possibility is expressly tied to group visits and suitable weather conditions.

Parco Cibert is a public park in Remanzacco with inclusive play equipment for children. A bike park and a new pump track have also been inaugurated there.
