Aprilia Marittima

Aprilia Marittima combines the Marano Lagoon with a distinctive marina and boating culture. The town emerged in the 1970s on the lagoon shores of the municipalities of Latisana and Marano as a tourist marina and residential marina on the Upper Adriatic. If you want to distinguish between a waterfront location, maritime experiences, and excursions into the hinterland when planning your trip, this place offers several clearly identifiable points of reference.

Lagoon, paths, and maritime surroundings

Aprilia Marittima is located directly on the Marano Lagoon. Via the Lungolaguna embankment, the town is connected to cycling and walking paths through the hinterland towards Lignano Sabbiadoro and towards the Tagliamento River. A boat trip starts in Aprilia Marittima and takes you to the casoni in the Marano Lagoon.

The history of the harbour facilities is also part of the townscape. Darsena Aprilia Marittima was the first marina established in the Aprilia Marittima district. It has 16 piers and can be reached by boat from the harbour entrance at Lignano via the Coron Channel, marked by buoys.

Marinas and technical facilities

Marina Capo Nord has space for 650 boats measuring between 10 and 20 metres in length. Its services include a crane-pass service, allowing boats to remain ashore all year round. There is a swimming pool near its landing stage. Marina Resort Punta Gabbiani has space for up to 300 boats measuring between 10 and 25 metres in length.

Another distinctive feature is Aprilia Marittima 2000 S.p.a. – Dry Marina. It has more than 50,000 square metres of enclosed outdoor storage space and offers maintenance, overhauls, and specialised technical support. In terms of understanding the town, this means that Aprilia Marittima is defined not only by its location on the lagoon, but also by facilities focused on the storage and care of boats.

Wellness, market, and regional products

As a complement to its maritime side, Corallino Wellness offers thalassotherapy with seawater, salts, and algae. After making a reservation, the entire centre can be used privately by four to five people. The wellness services therefore form a separate area of experiences alongside the harbour and lagoon activities.

The Mercato Agricolo takes place every Friday in July, August, and September in Via dei Coralli in Aprilia Marittima. Fresh regional products are sold there directly by local farms. The market adds a seasonal and regional dimension to the town, while the marina facilities and the paths along the Lungolaguna shape its character of water and landscape.

Dates for maritime enthusiasts

The 39th edition of NAUTILIA is scheduled for 17, 18, and 19 October, as well as 23, 24, and 25 October 2026, at the Centro Nautico in Aprilia Marittima in Latisana (Udine). NAUTILIA is a historic exhibition for used boats. This event complements the marina and dry marina facilities described as operating year-round with an event explicitly organised as an exhibition.
