One route described by the municipality leads from Ravascletto via the Sella Zoncolan, Monte Tamai and Malga Meleit to the Pieve di San Pietro. It therefore connects several named mountain stops and gives a hike a clearly traceable course.
The Panoramica delle Vette offers a different perspective. The route is 35 kilometres long; seven kilometres run at an altitude of around 2,000 metres below Monte Crostis. It can be cycled from Ravascletto. The approximate altitude remains an essential part of the description and distinguishes this route from the high-altitude trails to alpine pastures and mountain huts.
Townscape and Carnic architecture
The districts of Ravascletto preserve examples of Carnic architecture. In addition, specific architectural forms can be seen at the Chiesa di San Matteo apostolo: the church has a rectangular nave, a square chancel and a detached bell tower with a square ground plan. The Campanile della chiesa di San Matteo apostolo is a detached tower with a square ground plan, a square belfry and round-arched biforas. The townscape therefore offers not only a general regional classification, but also individual architectural details.
Fiesta tas Corts and regional cuisine
Every August, Ravascletto hosts the Fiesta tas Corts – Savors di una volta. Traditional Carnic dishes such as cjarsòns, frico and polenta are served at this event. Various culinary experiences take place in the courtyards and inner courtyards of Ravascletto’s historic centre. The festival thus combines a fixed annual period with named dishes and a clearly described setting in the town centre.
Leisure at the Fun Area Madessa
The Fun Area Madessa in Ravascletto is a free outdoor area for leisure activities in nature, designed for children and adults. Its facilities include a 130-metre-long tubing track. For a stay with different age groups, this provides a separate, specifically described leisure area without requiring a winter sports offering.
