Negrisia offers several different points of interest for a journey through Veneto: religious art, historic villas, the landscape along the Piave, cycling tours and wine tastings. When looking for suitable accommodation, you can therefore consider whether you would prefer to spend your days focusing on culture, nature, cycling or culinary experiences. The following places and activities give your stay in Negrisia a distinctive profile.

The Church of San Romano and the History of Negrisia

An important cultural point of reference is the Church of San Romano. It was built from 1913 onwards according to a design by Domenico Rupolo and consecrated in 1926. Inside is a Byzantine marble cross. It was recovered from the ruins of the former church, which was destroyed in the First World War, and is connected with the ancient Pieve of Negrisia. Those interested in religious history and historical evidence will find a direct connection here to the development of the village.

Villa Wiel also tells the story of a longer history of construction and ownership. The villa, with its outbuildings, is located on Via Fossadelle in Negrisia. It later bore the name Zambon and is now called Spilimbergo. The building stands on earlier structures dating from the 14th century. Together with San Romano, the villa offers a second perspective on Negrisia: alongside its religious heritage, there is historic architecture with its various phases of naming. In nearby Ponte di Piave, the Casa di Cultura Goffredo Parise preserves the writer’s former home with its personal furnishings, as well as a collection of contemporary art.

The Piave Landscape and Excursions in Nature

The Natura 2000 protected area “Grave del Piave – Fiume Soligo – Fosso di Negrisia”, identified by the code IT3240030, is located within the municipality of Ponte di Piave. For an introduction to the natural surroundings, the Oasi delle Grave di Negrisia is a destination along paths and unpaved roads beside the Piave riverbed. The excursion described there follows roads suitable exclusively for bicycles. If you would like to explore the surroundings actively, you should take this explicitly cycle-oriented character into account when planning your day.

The Fosso Negrisia is classified as a waterway for sport fishing from its sources to its confluence with the Piave. The landscape therefore appeals not only to people planning a nature-focused cycling tour, but also to visitors interested in fishing. A tourist route in Veneto passes through Negrisia on the return journey from Ponte di Piave to Santa Lucia. In addition, a published cycling tour on 27 October 2024 ran from Ponte di Piave via Fosso Negrisia and Negrisia towards Levada. This dated tour should be regarded as a past event; at the same time, it shows that Negrisia can be included in various regional routes.

Wine Tastings by Reservation

For a culinary-focused travel plan, there are two specific points of interest in and around Negrisia. At Alla Croce in the village of Negrisia, you can book wine tastings by reservation. Le Rive di Bonato ss offers tasting packages at Via Grave di Negrisia 50 in Ponte di Piave. If you would like to combine culture and landscape with regional wine, these activities can be included as a separate focus in your plans. Be sure to check that the reservation is suitable for your travel period.
